Like many modern love stories, ours began online—but it took a couple of tries for the spark to catch. After matching twice over the span of six months, fate (and a little persistence) finally brought us together. Our first date almost didn’t happen—after a week of nonstop texting, Sierra had to nudge Kyle and ask if he planned to actually take her out. That Friday, Kyle invited her to The Peanut, which just so happened to be Sierra’s least favorite spot. But wanting to seem easygoing, she agreed to bar food and chicken wings. Kyle was so shy that Sierra carried the whole conversation—but even through the nerves, something clicked. A quiet spark began to grow. That spark turned into a romance that stretched from winter through summer, filled with long talks, laughter, and deepening connection. On Kyle’s birthday, just 6 months into our story, we both said “I love you” for the first time—an unforgettable milestone that marked the beginning of building our home and future together. Since then, we’ve shared joy, heartache, laughter, and everything in between, always side by side. We love live music, especially western country and pop punk—our oddly perfect mix. You’ll find us at local breweries (Sierra’s sipping the lightest lager on tap, while Kyle’s chasing the boldest IPA), or spending quiet nights in with our beloved pets. We’re creatures of habit, always happiest surrounded by the people we love most. On January 31st, 2025, Kyle popped the question in the most thoughtful way. Sierra came home to a candlelit walkway, rose petals, and her three best friends waiting at the door with a handwritten letter from Kyle. The answer was an easy “Yes!”—made even sweeter by the surprise party that followed, where we were surrounded by all our favorite friends and family, ready to celebrate the beginning of our next chapter. We’re so excited to share this day with you, and even more grateful to have you be a part of our story.

We are staying at Virgin Hotels in the Canyon Tower. There is also the Ruby Tower, and the Opal Tower, so keep this in mind for booking purposes and preferences. The Ruby Tower is closest to where we will be. (It's a big hotel, check the property map by <a href="https://virginhotelslv.com/property-map/dining/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">clicking here</a>.) Pro tip: Check your travel credit cards for discounts. Rooms are extremely discounted via CapitalOne Venture cards, so check yours too! Expect Resort Fees at check-in.

Come Celebrate the Perfect Pear-ing

If you hadn't heard, we're having an intimate wedding in Las Vegas, NV, next April, 25, 2026! And while we're very excited for our not-elopement, but basically an elopement, we knew we couldn't celebrate this union without you beforehand! In lieu of a Return Reception, we'd like to invite you to join us for an Engagement Party to celebrate our perfect "pear-ing." Also, did you notice the bad pun? Twice? Yeah, well that's because we're keeping this dressy casual, open to the kiddos, and... pear themed, because a theme is always necessary. We, aka Sierra, would love to see shades of greens and or fruit patterns for attire, if you're up for a theme!
